Here are our entire listings for 8 bowl Frosted Pure Quartz Crystal Bowl Chakra Sets. Below you will find explanations for what our terms mean so you can make the right choice for your frosted bowl needs. Please read through the page. We think it is important for you to fully understand what you are receiving when buying a chakra set. If you need any guidance on this matter, please email us email@example.com or give us a call at 802-674-9585 between 10am and 5pm eastern time. We are experts in the field of sound healing, and would love to speak to you. Our goal is to provide the right crystal bowl set for you!
Each set comes standard with 8 o-rings, and 8 suede crystal bowl strikers depending on how many bowls you get. We only provide crystal bowl sets that are in perfect incremental tuning to each other, so a purchase from us is also the knowledge that you will be receiving a top of the line quality set. "Incremental" means the notes actually follow the scale accurately, from lowest note to highest note, as they would on a piano keyboard, in precise harmonic intervals. Most sets available do not do this. The crystal bowl industry, in general, does not take the time or effort to understand the importance of this, or supply an incremental set to their clients, because it is time consuming, and difficult to get these exact pitches in proper sequence.
What Are Nesting Sets?
Our nesting sets will fit perfectly within 3 cases. The sizes of the bowls are as follows: 14" C, 13" D, 12" E, 11" F, 10" G, 9" A, 8" B, 8" C. (If you choose the 9 bowl set, you will as well receive a low B). Because the bowls are equally sized apart you can nest the set in three cases:
Case 1: 14"C, 12" E, 8" B
Case 2: 13" D, 11" F, 9" A
Case 3: 10" G, 8" C
What Are The Sizes of the bowls in a Standard Set?
If the set is not listed as a nesting set, then the bowls will be between 14 and 8 inches in diameter based on availability. An example of a set would be:
12" C, 12" D, 11" E, 11" F, 10" G, 10" A, 8" B, 7-8" C
What Are 440hz Sets?
440hz is the standard hz value for tuning instruments internationally. What this means is that the A note in your chakra set (the middle A) rings right at 440hz, and all the other bowls are tuned in relationship to that A being 440hz, so that the set perfectly tones to do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do. This is what perfect pitch, or true tone means.
What Are 432hz Sets?
432hz tuning is if you flatten the middle A note in the set to ring at 432hz instead of 440hz, and then all the other bowls are tuned in relationship to that A being 432hz so that the set tones incrementally and perfectly to do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do. This gives all the bowls a slightly sweeter tone then 440hz tuning.
What Are Non-Perfect Pitch Sets?
In non-perfect pitch sets, the middle A is not tuned to 440hz or 432hz, but a different hz value of our choosing within the range of the A note. For example, if the A is tuned to 435hz and the rest of the set is tuned to that, this is a really nice tuning that is very pleasant to listen to but does not have the same cost as perfect pitch 440 or 432hz sets. If you choose the non-perfect pitch option we will choose the best set possible at the time.
What Are 8 Bowl vs 7 Bowl Sets?
The 7 bowl set plays the C major scale - C, D, E, F, G, A, B. In the crystal bowl industry, this is known as the standard chakra set, where each of the notes relates to a specific chakra in the body. These would be as follows:
C - Root
D - Sacral
E - Solar Plexus
F - Heart
G - Throat
A - Third Eye
B - Crown
The 8 bowl set includes a 8" High C note that rings above the B note. First, adding this high C note finishes off the octave - so instead of your set just playing "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti" it plays "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do." This final note gives the set a sense of completion, and also open yourself up to a much more harmonic set, as this eight bowl is highly harmonic with many other bowls in the set. Also, this 8th bowl opens you up to working with the soulstar, or 8th chakra, located above the crown of the head.
What is the 9 Bowl Set?
The 9 bowl set adds a low B note to the 8 bowl set. This allows you to work with the earth chakra, located below the root chakra. Being able to work with the earth and soulstar chakra together creates a magnetic connection between heaven and earth that helps you become a clear channel of spacious energy. The low B bowl will be between 10 and 14 inches in diameter. If you choose the 9 bowl nesting set you will get the 8 bowl nesting set + the low B bowl. If you choose the 9 bowl standard set, you will get the 8 bowl standard set + the low B bowl.
