Navajo Long Jingle Beater
This is a drum beater made by our Navajo/Salish maker. The beater is made out of deer hide and is adorned with fringed on the head of the beater and as well the handle. The fringes on the handle have jingle cones that softly chime as you beat the drum. There is also intricate bead work with the beater. We would usually sell this beater for $75, but it has been used a few times so are selling it for a reduced rate. The beater's head is long and hard, bringing out a full range of tones from the drum. These beaters are approximately 16 to 18 inches long.
